Boozy Liquor Popcorn

“For quirky and unusual treats like liquor popcorn, that lots of party guests will likely want to try, I’d recommend serving them in a way that helps controls portion size.

If you just put these out in a bowl, guest are likely to scoop up handfuls, and there might not be enough to go around.

One way to do this is to serve in disposable treat cones (see my post here), treat cups (see here), or mini tasting bowls (see here).

I’d also present alongside a bottle of the actual liquor to both identify and visually re-enforce the flavor.

Alternatively, display with food tents that read ‘Guess the Flavor’ on the outside face and the answer written on the inside.

You could also use liquor popcorn as a garnish or topping for cupcakes or desserts served in disposable shooter glasses (see here), dessert cups (see here), mini mugs (see here), or martini glasses (see here).

Just be careful not to let the popcorn sit on any wet components for long, otherwise it could turn soggy. You could always separate them with a wafer.
