ADVICE FROM A PRO

Matt’s tip

Matt James professional event planner

“Of course you can just make chocolate dipped strawberries yourself, but if you’ve ever tried it you’ll know it gets messy quickly and it’s hard to get a clean, smooth, professional-looking finish. So the big advantage of buying these is to get that elegant visual wow-factor.

Remember, you don’t need to buy huge quantities of these chocolate covered strawberries to make a big impression. Use them to add an accent to a larger tray of regular strawberries.

Or display in rows on square or rectangular premium disposable plates, alternating them checkerboard-style with regular strawberries to make them stretch further.

To control portion-size, consider serving these serve them on these individual individual tasting forks, tasting spoons, or mini novelty treat containers and trays.

Update 2024: the liquor-infused strawberries no longer seem to be available, but you can easily create something similar yourself using these disposable food pipettes.

Alternatively, use fill the food pipettes with your favorite dessert sauce.

You can also buy the the strawberry shortcake crunch topping pictured below (other flavors available) separately too if you want to make these yourself.”
