For a neat ‘pulled tight’ look you can pick up a pack of 8 elastic string clips for just $7
Simply attach to the sides of your backdrop stand then clip along the edge of your fabric backdrop
The constant pressure will help prevent sagging and wrinkles

Matt’s tip

“In addition to adding tension to the sides with these clips, I’d recommend tucking the bottom edge of your backdrop under a weighted wood batten to keep it pulled tight along the entire width.

Don’t just weight down the bottom corners though, as this pulls the fabric unevenly and creates puckering.

To ensure the clips aren’t visible, I’d recommend dressing the sides and top of your backdrop with additional decorations, such as bunches of balloons, balloon garlands, artificial flowers / garlands / vines, or paper flower decorations (check out the links at the end of this post).“
