Why Your Invitations Need to Be Personal, Creative, or Unusual

ADVICE FROM A PRO
Matt’s tip

“Because the print area on these balloons is pretty compact, keep your wording concise and stick to the essentials — name, occasion, date, time, location, and how to RSVP — otherwise longer sentences might end up being printed too small and harder to read.
I think a nice way to present these is to hand-write or print a custom message, such as ‘please inflate and save the date’ or just ‘inflate me’, onto a decorative tag (see links below) and tie it on with ribbon. Then, send them out in small gift boxes (see links below) filled with confetti or tissue paper. Or for a really fun twist, use this Custom Face Confetti with the guest of honor’s photo.
Remember to ask for a digital proof before anything goes to print, and pay attention to any text that might look small. Most sellers will gladly send you one, though with some you have to ask for it rather than it arriving automatically.
Also, be sure to order more than you need. Latex balloons occasionally have small defects, so it’s best to have some spares.
