“Whether you’re using as a backdrop to a buffet / dessert table / bar or to dress walls in a larger room, these look best if you ‘frame’ or ‘blend’ the edges with additional decorations, such as bunches of balloons, balloon garlands, artificial flowers / garlands / vines, or paper flower decorations (check out the links at the end of this post).

This helps soften the harsh side edges—where the backdrop ends and it meets the wall—so it blends into the surrounding decor and doesn’t look like a flat curtain.

These look best when hung from a backdrop stand, which you can pick up for around $39.
