the how

  • Maximize your budget by treating these as accents and mixing with regular latex balloons to make larger bunches
  • Depending on the size of each bunch, 2 or 3 rude balloons mixed into each one should be sufficient
  • Use helium-filled bunches to flank dessert / buffet tables tables and bars, line the perimeter of the room, or to add height to occasional tables so they’re visible over guest’s heads
  • Alternatively, fill with helium and tie on long strings to dinner table centerpieces to add height.

ADVICE FROM A PRO

Matt’s tip

Matt James professional event planner

“These are great fun, but I do recommend considering whether the ones that use expletives will be appropriate for the type party guests expected.

While the guest of honor might ordinarily have a great sense of humor, they might prefer to tone it down a bit if they’re expecting work colleagues, elderly relatives, kids, or Church friends to attend the party.

These balloons often work best if you consider them an accent in larger bunches of regular balloons. Two or three per bunch, depending on the size of each bunch, should be sufficient.

If you’re going to be blowing up a lot of balloons, consider getting an electric balloon pump (under $20 see button below) as it saves a lot of effort compared to a hand pump!”
