Sizing. Sizes typically range from around 10 inches up to a life-size 60-inch version, with a 16-inch standard the most popular pick.
Submit your photos. Send one clear, front-facing photo along with a separate photo of their outfit — a work uniform, scrubs, a wedding dress, whatever they’re actually known for. Small props like a stethoscope, service medals, or a cap and gown can usually be added too, so mention those when you order.
Lead time. These are handmade to order, so plan on at least two months before you need it — more if your seller includes a proof and revision round as part of the process.
Materials and care. Made from soft, hypoallergenic plush and fabric, safe for kids.

“With plush dolls, it’s harder to capture the subtleties, like facial expressions, that help make the person recognizable. Instead, the likeness often leans more on the little details, such as the outfit, accessories, or hairstyle.

So, in addition to the face photo, send a clear reference image of a distinctive outfit that captures their signature look, such as a band tee, a work uniform, or their go-to hobby gear.

Similarly, choose a reference photo that includes accessories or props that might help reinforce the likeness, e.g. a stethoscope, a set of service medals, a hat etc.

Note that not every maker sends a proof before they start sewing, so if it’s offered, take it. A quick sneak peek of the fabric colors or the finished plush is the easiest way to catch a color or detail that’s off before it ships, not after.
