the idea

These custom hand-painted wooden dolls turn the guest of honor into a Christmas tree ornament and fridge magnet that’s as personal as it is playful.

the how

Customization. Order one figure, or a matching pair for couples. Submit 2 to 3 clear photos.
Approval. The seller sends back a mockup with exact dimensions before painting begins, so you can request changes.
Lead time. 2 to 4 business days for the mockup. 5 to 10 business days to paint and finish once you approve it.
Materials. Built from three layers of wood, hand-painted in acrylic, and sealed under a protective varnish. Fine in light rain, but keep it away from standing water.
Size. About 7 inches tall and just over half an inch thick.
Setup. Arrives ready to hang, string already attached. No assembly.
Packaging. Ships in a crafted gift box, ready to give as-is.

“These custom tree ornaments capture a person’s likeness best when you pick a photo that shows their distinctive features, e.g., glasses, beard, hairstyle, facial expressions, etc.

Similarly, distinctive clothing really helps too, such as a uniform, team jersey, hat, or anything they often wear, like a suit, jewelry, or their favorite band T-shirt, etc. Anything that helps define their ‘look’ and makes them more recognizable.

One of the things I love about this gift is that it can be displayed year-round. Once the tree comes down, they can use the built-in magnet to stick it on the fridge alongside the school photos and postcards instead of packing it away with the rest of the decorations till next year.
